After having spent over 20 years abroad, Pierre feels a sense of privilege when he returns to his home country. Generally, he will spend a few days in his favourite city in the world, Paris, before heading off to the various wine producing regions. During these visits, he is struck by the pride and attachment his countrymen and women have for the land and is reminded how France is a very special place.

Over the years, Pierre has met several artisans whose work is truly inspiring and brings a new dimension into the world of wine. Two such creators of timeless craftsmanship with whom he has the pleasure of working today are his dear friends, Thierry Drevelle and Jean-Baptiste Ponsot.

Like Pierre’s wine grower friends, they share the same handful of defining qualities: talent, passion, commitment, respect and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world with ease.
