In 2018, Antonin Cosnier took over a part of the family land near the village of Pernand-Vergelesses, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, to make his own wines.
Made up of five plots in Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cruand Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru, the estate is managed Antonin’s way. He adheres to sustainable viticulture, manually working the land and focusing on micro-cuvées.
His cellar is place of experimentation, in which he observes subtle differences in his micro-cuvées: comparing, for example, the impact of barrel size on aging or of different selections coming from the same plot. The result is a poetic collection of expressive, mineral wines.
Largely under the radar, Antonin is a talented young winemaker full of surprises.
